Narnia – The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

This week for my homeschooling lesson my mom is having me listen to                 The Lion, The Witch, & The WardrobeThe Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe is a book I hadn’t read before. Although I think my dad had watched it on TV. As I remember seeing parts of the movie but as usual  I didn’t sit down and watch it with him.

My mom and I found a website online called Ancient Faith where you can listen to Narnia – The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe 1-2  for free.  Tomorrow we will be watching chapters 3 and 4.

Then we have some lessons to work on as well as some Recipes to make that was taken from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.  If you would like to check out the resources we found you will find them on my mother’s blog at:

Narnia . . . a land is frozen in eternal winter . . . a country waiting to be set free

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the second book in C. S. Lewis’s            The Chronicles of Narnia, a series that has become part of the canon of classic literature, drawing readers of all ages into a magical land with unforgettable characters for over fifty years.

Four adventurers step through a wardrobe door and into the land of Narnia, a land enslaved by the power of the White Witch. But when almost all hope is lost, the return of the Great Lion, Aslan, signals a great change . . . and a great sacrifice.

This ebook contains the complete text and art. Illustrations in this ebook appear in vibrant full color on a full-color ebook device and in rich black-and-white on all other devices. This is a stand-alone read, but if you would like to explore more of the Narnian realm, pick up The Horse and His Boy, the third book in The Chronicles of Narnia.

I have two other resources you might like to check into. Especially if you enjoyed The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe there are The Chronicles of Narnia Songbook: The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe Kindle Edition and also The Official Narnia Cookbook: Food from The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis Kindle Edition

My mom knows about the cookbook so I am sure she will have me cooking. But she doesn’t know about the songbook so let’s keep it to ourselves or she might have me putting on a concert. Which isn’t something I want to do. Although it would be a music class.
